Virtual Sandler Center

During this unprecedented time, while we miss you all dearly, we want to continue to be a resource for the community even though the bright lights of our stage may be off. While the show can't currently go on, we want to bring a smile to your day and we can do that by connecting virtually while we are physically apart! So we would like to open our virtual doors, raise our virtual curtains, and give you access to some great programs and performances. We look forward to reopening our actual doors to you soon, but in the meantime, check back to this webpage frequently and follow us on social media as we will share fun videos, resources, and photos that will keep us all virtually connected. For event updates, please visit

Sign up to receive email updates on virtual content, as well as event status updates and new safety protocols for when the Sandler Center begins to reopen.

We invite you to post, comment, and share videos of your past performances and new home-bound practice sessions on our virtual stage for our entire community to enjoy. Check out #MusicMondays as we share music from local to national acts, #TriviaTuesdays as we share fun facts about the Sandler Center and Sandler Center Foundation, and Sandler Center Foundation's #FamilyFridays where we will post past performances from our Educational Programs for all Pre-K-12 students and their families. NEW! Join us each Thursday for the Sandler Center Masterclass Series. This series will feature top businesses from around Hampton Roads. Each business will teach a “class” about their businesses’ specialty. The series will start Thursday, September 24, and continue each Thursday until October 15.

Sandler Center Masterclass Series

The Sandler Center Masterclass Series will feature top businesses from around Hampton Roads. Each business will teach a “class” about their businesses’ specialty. The series will start Thursday, September 24, and continue each Thursday until October 15.

Each week we will be interviewing the businesses about their business, what they are doing in these COVID times, what they will be teaching about, and then they will teach their class. Not only will you learn about the business and their specialty but you can follow along right at home! Each week a different package will be available for purchase. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Sandler Center Foundation. These proceeds stay local and help local performing arts companies. These packages will include the materials needed for the class (more info on the packages below). To be in the “class”, viewers will need to purchase a package from for that week. An email with a private link to the video for that week will come directly to the purchaser’s email address. Support local businesses and the Sandler Center Foundation, while learning something new!

*These classes will be held virtually. The full video of the class will not be streamed on Facebook. Class sales end at 6 AM on the day of the class.

Kellie Rose is a singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA. Her expansive and unique sound pushes the boundaries of the singer/songwriter genre - as she integrates EDM, R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop styles in her music. Demonstrating extensive flexibility throughout her sonic landscape, by staying true to her singer/songwriter core. Layering live instrumentation through the guitar and piano add a poetic and passionate film to each song. Kellie breaks the traditional mold of what you think a singer/songwriter sounds like by her multi-genre influence and hunger for collaboration. Like any true gypsy soul she has set her eyes on the horizon and is here to show you all the tricks up her sleeve.
