What hearing support systems do you have?

We have a new, state-of-the-art Hearing Loop Listening Assistance System. A Hearing Loop is the only system that sends the voices of the performers and instruments from the microphones on stage directly into the hearing aid, cochlear implant, or headphones of an audience member.

The Hearing Loop works by sending out a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by a hearing aid when it is set to the “T” or telecoil setting. A patron can tune into the Hearing Loop by flipping the switch on their hearing aid to the t-coil program. If a patron does not have a hearing aid or their hearing aid does not have a T-coil, the Sandler Center has a limited number of headphone units available on a first-come, first-served basis that also tunes into the Hearing Loop. Patrons with a legal ID can borrow a headset from Coat Check during the performance.

Patrons who are unsure about their hearing aid’s T-coil settings should check with their audiologist or hearing care provider. Most hearing aids have the T-coil function, but it may need to be activated by an audiologist. For more information on hearing loops, visit HearingTechnologies.net or HearingLoop.org.

What are your policies regarding COVID-19?

We will continue to closely monitor the situation so that we can quickly make adjustments should the CDC or local authorities recommend different or amended precautionary measures.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests. However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and Venue disclaims any and all liability related thereto. In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests not attend events:

  • Guests who are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough, and shortness of breath);
  • Guests who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without the use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared;
  • Guests who have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days; and
  • Guests who have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.
