Learn from Local Organizations as They Teach Their Businesses' Speciality

The Sandler Center Masterclass Series will feature top businesses from around Hampton Roads. Each business will teach a “class” about their businesses’ specialty. The series will start Thursday, September 24, and continue each Thursday until October 15.

 

Each week the business will go live on Facebook for 5 minutes telling viewers about their business, what they are doing in these COVID times, and what they will be teaching about. Not only will you learn about the business and their specialty but you can follow along right at home! Each week a different package will be available for purchase. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Sandler Center Foundation. These proceeds stay local and help local performing art companies. These packages will include the materials needed for the class (more info on the packages below). To be in the “class”, viewers will need to purchase a package from YnotTix.com for that week. An email with a private link to the video for that week will come directly to the purchaser’s email address. Support local businesses and the Sandler Center Foundation, while learning something new!

 

SCHEDULE:

• September 24: Macaron Tart at 6 PM
  • Packages include:
    • Macaroon Class = $80. Watch as the owner of Macaron Tart teaches you how to make macaroons.  The package includes cooking materials for macaroons.
    • Cupcake Class = $80. Watch as the owner of Macaron Tart teaches you how to make her twist on cupcakes.  The package includes cooking materials for the cupcakes.
• October 1: Tupelo Honey at 6 PM
  • Package includes:
  • Tupelo Honey’s famous biscuits = $39. Follow along with the Tupelo Honey Chef as he teaches you to make their famous biscuits. The package includes cooking materials for biscuits as well as the Tupelo Honey Cookbook.
• October 8: The Royal Chocolate at 6 PM
  • Package includes:
    • The Royal Chocolate Halloween Inspired Make Your Own Chocolate Bar = $15. Get in the Halloween spirit with your very own kit to create a chocolate bar. The package includes all ingredients and directions to make one chocolate bar.​​​​​​​
• October 15: YMCA at 6:45 PM
  • Packages include:
    • 45-minute Virtual Regymen HIIT Training Workout and MyZone Heart Rate Monitor = $75. This class will include a scheduled individual phone call prior to the workout to set up MyZone belt and client consultation. This is a great deal as the Heart Rate Monitor alone retails for $130.
    • 45-minute Virtual Regymen HIIT Training Workout = $20. Regymen Fitness workouts offer an interval training style workout where time flies and calories burn, and they provide the mental encouragement, inspiration, and social interaction proven to help individuals reach their health and fitness goals faster than going at it alone. This will be held virtually. The non-member rate for this class is normally $22.
