"Ynot Wednesdays?" Free Summer Concert Series & Farmers Market

The Third Annual Summer Nights at Town Center Concert Series, "Ynot Wednesdays?" concluded on August 31st after a record-breaking year. Over 19,000 Hampton Roads residents and vacationers enjoyed the free concerts every Wednesday night in June through August.

Over the fourteen week series, our attendance doubled from the summer of 2010 as visitors enjoyed music ranging from folk to rock to blues. This year we welcomed our new title sponsor, Ynot Pizza as they provided delicious pizza and sandwiches all year long. For a second straight year, The Virginia Beach Farmers Market added to the environment as local farmers set-up their fresh fruits, vegetables, and other homegrown items on the Plaza. The Series would not have been possible without their support along with all of our local business and media sponsors.

Over $7,000 was raised for the Sandler Center Foundation, whose mission is to support arts education and enhance the programming at the Sandler Center. Click here to learn more about the Sandler Center Foundation.
